Mushrooms and more mushrooms

Eija went mushroom picking at a friend's summer house. The bag of black horn mushrooms (the one in her left hand) weighed 9 kilos. They would fetch somewhere around €90 if she were to sell them.

Here are the names of the mushrooms (in Finnish, of course).  Eija dries them in her sauna and stores them for use in making mushroom pies (like a quiche) for Christmas.  She made a mushroom pie for Reetta (my classmate) and me.  Yum!

Here's the mushroom steak Eija made for me.  It's literally just the mushroom cooked in a frying pan.  Just add salt and pepper.  When cooked it looks like an egg.
Black horn mushrooms waiting in the sauna.  This is not quite half the bag.  Eija and I cleaned them, cut them in half (mostly you can just tear them), and then laid them out in the sauna.

Lingonberries Eija gathered.  You smash them up, add sugar, and use as a garnish on meats.

Lingonberry collection apparatus.  Another brilliant invention by the Finns.
